We stayed in room 7 which was a beautiful annex outside the hotel. It was very spacious and a lovely place to stay with only a 20 minute walk into town. The decoration could use a little tlc but the property was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Superb! Would not hesitate to stay again. We arrived late on the Friday evening and this was no problem and the guy on reception (who’s name I forgot) could not have been more helpful. Absolute star! The room ( an annex room) was lovely. Amazingly comfortable bed and lovely en-suite. No issues whatsoever. The staff were also first rate throughout our stay. Five stars!

Lovely hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived, helping us park and walking us up to reception. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was quiet even though fully booked, no slamming doors and chatter in the corridors. The location was good with a lovely pub a couple of minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to York

Great to have on-site parking. Great to have full English done right (so many get it wrong) eggs over easy done as requested (so many can't/don't). Just a great location to explore York from. Leave the car and stroll into town. Highly recommended.

The shower stall was the smallest I have ever seen. If you are over 150 pounds you will not fit. The HVAC was not able to be controlled by the guest.
