Broadway Country House

Lovely location

It is a lovely property on a hill. You can see the sea. It’s not super close but close enough to see the waves. The room is updated & extremely comfortable.

The first night the people in the room next to us talked the entire night. They finally stopped at 6:30 am. They weren’t loud. It seemed that the walls are very thin. No problem the next night but I felt kind of grouchy from lack of sleep that 1st night.

Breakfast was very good.

Room was lovely. Clean ,bright, well maintained Lovely surroundings, well kept garden. The breakfast chef was helpful . The breakfast was cooked freshly and there was several options you could have.

No one to greet you. Only 4 of us in hotel, no staff except at breakfast time. But it was clean and there was plenty of information to tell you where you could eat locally.. if you like to be sociable, come when it is busier.

Location was ok. Breakfast was nice.

Rooms were old and dirty, dust and cobweb all over. Carpet was dirty and stianed. Walls were full of damp. Shower was tiny and water not draining. Curtains was dirty and broken.
