We wanted a great value 3 night break away - and that’s exactly what we got, and much more. Location is wonderful. The hotel itself is a little dated however the owners have modernised the bedrooms, they were light and spacious with French doors to the front and a superb hot powerful shower. Comfortable beds and so peaceful at night, not a sound! Breakfast was simple but with excellent fully cooked to order Welsh breakfast options, all home made/with local produce, omelette on request! The icing on the cake was the wood burner lit in the communal space with sofas to relax, it was honestly fabulous. You can get a take away delivered and eat in if you like. Restaurants and pubs only a short drive away. It’s a no frills stay but we couldn’t have asked for better value for money and the hospitality of the owners is marvellous. We would definitely return!

Nothing not to like. Being a small business, the owners family are around but it’s fairly self managed but you can call if you need anything. There’s no bar or restaurant on site but you ar welcome to take your own alcohol/drinks/snacks etc and this is absolutely fine - wine glasses etc are provided. We ordered an Indian and stayed in by the for one evening! Perfect.
