Das "Inn at Charlestown" hatten wir spontan gewählt, da unsere eigentlich gebuchte Unterkunft wegen Wasserschaden ausgefallen ist. Es liegt direkt in dem ruhigen Ort Charlestown und hat einen großen Parkplatz. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, schön hell und hatte ein großes Bett. Das (schottische) Frühstück war als Buffet aufgebaut und war sehr gut. Ausreichend Auswahl. Ein kleiner schöner Spaziergang zum Wasser mit den Kalkbrennöfen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Eine gute Alternative als Unterkunft vor dem Abflug aus Edinburgh.

Die Zimmer liegen im ersten Stock und sind über einige Treppen zu erreichen. Leider sind die Wände sehr dünn, sodass man die (etwas lauteren) Gespräche aus dem Nachbarzimmer hört. Die Lüftung im Bad lief leider auch sehr, sehr lange nach, sodass wir anfangs schon dachten, das hört nicht auf.

Too many Cigarette butts outside the cabins. Should be cleaned daily and Cigarette bins readily available.

Cama muito boa, chuveiro bom, hotel muito bonito e o restaurante fantástico.

Por aqui estava que o café da manhã começava às 7h mas no hotel começa às 8h. Como tínhamos que sair mais cedo ficamos sem.
