We were traveling in the area and after reading Travelocity ratings we had to stay there. It really lived up to its reputation. This place is a real gem. Newly renovated the place is VERY comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievable for such a small hotel nothing left out. When you meet Kevin and Julie you are welcome guests. When you leave you feel like friends.

Short relaxing break, even breaking down in the outside lane of the M5 on our way home didn't spoil our stay! Fabulous hosts, nothing too much trouble and breakfasts must be second to none. Many thanks Kevin and Julie.

Well this place is amazing. You know when you find a gem when staying away, well this is the place! It has it all, great hospitality and awarm welcome with a home away from home feel. Its clean and comfortable and within walkng distances to the shops and sea. With a breakfast that outshines the biggest of hotels, with a superb gluten free range I couldn't recommend the The Albaston enough. I will be returning.

Second stay at this hotel, this time with friends. Can’t find anything negative to say. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated throughout, the breakfasts are the best we have ever had in Torquay (and we visit it fairly frequently) and Julie and Kevin are great hosts.

Excellance personified from the great welcome from Kevin & Julie through to the friendlyl goodbyes at departure , a stunning hotel of great quality well presented in a personal style which really works from the individual style of each room through to Oscars lounge bar . Arrival is complimented by a gin & tonic [always a nice touch] , through to a quality breakfast cooked to order with home made yogurt , jams ,bread , & pastries all great , situated perfectly this boutique bnb is all you could wish for on a luxury break .

Great Place to stay in Torquay. The hosts were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing with all fresh produce and locally sourced. Everything was just perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

The most perfect B&B we've ever stayed in! The rooms all have themes. What wonderful hosts - highly recommended!
