A cosy country house that was beautifully appointed to fit in with the era when Beatrix Potter lived there! The meals were exquisite. Richard, owner and chef, produced wonderful meals! Thoroughly recommend both the hotel and food! Bedroom was lovely and bed comfortable. The hotel was warm and staff very friendly and helpful.

It was located in the most stunning and peaceful of places. And because it was small and intimate, we felt as though we were looked after really well. Richard and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. The food was delicious and we will definitely be going back.

We didn’t realise that we had booked the attic room, as we wanted a room with a bath. And as my husband is 6ft 4, it caused a few sore heads. Next time we’ll know better.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ees Wyke, it is a beautiful house in a fabulous location, the food was excellent. Above this, the people that run the House were the best part of our weekend. They were always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic weekend.
