The Mediterranean Port Douglas

The customer service was great. Parking was great. The couch was comfy. The beds were fine. The pool was great. The flat was very spacious. They provided towels, bedding and soaps. Overall we felt like we got what we paid for and were satisfied.

There were a couple of things that bothered us a little: There were at least 10 flies constantly flying around the whole time. Even when I killed them all, there were just as many the next day. There might be a gap in some windows where they come in, not sure. Also, the taps dripped unless you tightened them to an extreme level.

The staff were friendly, great location, good pool.

Our particular room smelt so musty and mouldy to the point I had to buy a reed diffuser and carry it next to me to mask the smell. The room itself had so much dust around the architraves, on the fans and it wasn’t that clean (black hair was found on the rim of the toilet on check in). It’s such a shame because the building itself, staff, location and facilities were nice. But the smell was really horrible and based on this I couldn’t recommend.

Great pool area and bbq. Great location close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

Overall happy with our stay no negative comments to make.

Very nice luxury appartments

Very spacious, close to where we wanted to be, lovely private pool area and great welcome from Nina!

It smelt very mouldy and was very dark, but we mainly just slept there

The layout and design of the apartment was great. Spacious and had everything we needed. The location was within a quick and easy drive of the centre of town and amenities. The pool area was secluded and clean.

It felt like the apartment needed a little TLC.

Staff and building manager was so friendly and helpful. Great vibe.. Pool was great fun and entertained the children for hours. Apartment was a great size and a perfect location.

Due to building work and some cyclone damage the apartment felt a bit dusty and needed a good clean.
