Daintree Wilderness Lodge

The Tranquility. The quality of the cabins were better than expected - ie every thing is sealed, you don't feel like animals will get in and there is AirCon. The shower looking into the Daintree is a lovely way to wake up! Breakfast was included in the price which was lovely.

The wine options for dinner at the on-site restaurant could be a lot better for the price you pay.

Lovely little place in the rainforest. Unfortunately we hardly slept a wink as it rained very heavily for most of the night and as the roof was made of metal with clear glass windows in the roof it was very noisy! Inside the curtains didn’t fit the windows very well so the light came through and so we were awake early also if we had slept at all! The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we were billed on the incorrect credit card also which was a pain! Take your mosquito repellent and wear at all times!

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Jason & his team really look after their guests, the food was great and the cabins are very well appointed. Highly recommended for a magical rainforest experience.👏👏

An authentic wilderness experience yet resort-like accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The property was well maintained and the individual large-windowed cabins enhanced the natural experience of the rainforest without compromising comfort.

You are elevated off the forest floor and are in private cabins that are connected via walkways. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and things to do!

What a fantastic place with a unique atmospher. We enjoyed the secluded lovely cabins with cool bathrooms, the wilderness boardwalks, the plunge pool, and the lovely open air restaurant. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and Jason and Lee took tremendously good care of us - lovely food and all smiles. This place will really add to your Daintree experience. Highly recommended

We booked 2 nights here as we were up exploring the region. We received a very warm welcome from both the managers who were really helpful at showing us where to go and what to see. Our room was really nice, pillows were very firm though. Bathroom was lovely with a powerful rainforest shower. We ate in the hotels restaurants both nights and enjoyed decent, fairly priced food and nice wine with friendly service. Breakfast was also good. No Wi-Fi in the room, which was to be expected, no TV signal either, but lots of DVDs in reception. Sleeping in the rainforest was a challenge for me, as could hear wildlife all night, but added to the special feel of the place. Great base for exploring the region and unusual accommodation with friendly personalised service due to only having 7 lodges. Highly recommended.

It was in the heart of the Daintree rainforest and what a beautiful spot it is! You are surrounded by the rainforest and jungle, with a nice holiday and modern touch to it to suit your holiday and relaxation needs. Even a nice spa to cool off from the heat as well. The Daintree wilderness lodge is also close to all tourist attraction spots such as ocean safari, croc cruises, Daintree swimming holes and so much more! The staff we so lovely and accommodating, made me and my partner feel so welcome and at home while we were away from home. We will definitely be coming back!
