The Classic Horseshoe Bay Motel

Von unserem ersten Zimmer konnte man die Tür nicht verschließen. Wir bekamen ein neues. Alles ist alt, verwohnt und heruntergekommen. Im Zimmer und außen. Die Bettwäsche war (hoffentlich) einigermaßen sauber, aber ungebügelt. Die Hand und Badetücher alt und mit kleinen Restflecken von Mascara .

Great location for walking into the ferry. Clean. Parking.

No a/c so very hot - the incredibly noisy squeaky fan helped but … Very tired inside. Looks a good option for walking to the ferry (3 minutes) but if you are in a car it’s a 15-20 minute drive - other hotels may be a better/nicer option at the price, and IMHO it is quite overpriced

If you’re staying at Horseshoe Bay to connect with the local ferry this is the place to stay, warm friendly welcome with the added bonus of a late check in. Rooms clean and comfortable with a good bathroom/shower complementary toiletries. Ferry terminal is within walking distance, what more could you want.

Les meubles sont datés et la chambre était très sombre. Tout faisait vieux et la moquette ne faisait pas propre. Tout aurait besoin d’être rénové.

The room was clean and comfortable, check-in easy with a gracious host. But no mistaking it…this property is a 1950s or 1960s era motel. Parking lot should be repaved and a camper trailer next to the office on property gave the whole place a semi-seedy atmosphere. Renovating may be coming. The location is excellent with restaurants and the bay only a block away.

Check in was super simple, staff really nice. Parking was great. Room a little oudated, but otherwise quiet and great for a stop before hopping on an early ferry
