The Classic Horseshoe Bay Motel

As I understand it, the motel is under new management & things have improved since they took over. They were nice & it was clean enough, but there was no a/c & it’s kinda old. Anywhere else this hotel would be worth 80$/$120 per night. After tax these folks charged $348. Unless you are desperate for a room, move along….

On route to a family wedding on Sunshine Coast, location superb, 2 mins on foot to shops, bars and facilities, parking good, only 10 minute drive out and U-turn back to ferry port, only confusion was the Motel had different name up when we arrived as it is a film location for a TV series, so we even got to sleep on a film set. Happy Days.

Wanted to stay another night!

Ottima posizione per prendere il ferry. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la doccia e, nonostante fosse sera, lo staff è stato prontamente reperibile e ci ha subito cambiato camera.

Great location. Hotel very dated. But did the job and we had a pleasant stay.

The room ( no 24 ) smelt like a old person’s home,is smelt of wee, The mattress was as hard as the tarmac that the car was parked on outside.
