Nice hotel located close to Hadrians wall . Good food options when dining in. Room very small, specially with 2 large bags, one couldn't walk round one side of the bed. Lovely staff.

Very minor gripes the push button room door entry was not great. two sinks in bathroom not needed but too much furniture in bedroom. Great location near to Hadrians wall sites. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was one of the best i've had. Food was good quality and the bar was very good. Lots of information and good parking options.

This was a friendly Inn, central both in Britain and in Haltwhistle!! The check in was easy, excellent amenities and staff were all very helpful. Fantastic place to explore local area.

The property has a lot of character and the staff was very friendly and approachable.

I had a pleasant two night stay and the room was very spacious and clean with a great shower. The wardrobe back had fallen off but it didn’t affect my stay. Breakfast was great. The hotel is very handy for the railway station and the bus stop opposite meant it was easy to get the AD122 bus up to Hadrian’s Wall. Definitely a good place to base yourself. Check in was easy and the staff worked hard and a friendly bunch.

Overall, the hotel was great. Very busy dining, but no problem with obtaining food on first night. However, on second night it took one & a half hours to get food (only starters ordered). The main problem was communication. No-one told us that they had a big party in & it would take a considerable time to get our order. Even after an hour, when I went to see where our food was, the issue was not handled very well. The kitchen & front of house need to communicate better.
