It would have been nice if the heating had come on

Driving into the car park challenging

The stay was relatively inexpensive and offered good value for money. There was parking available for the car, although it was a little difficult to find at first. It’s best to ask a staff member for directions.

Some street noise with the window open, but with the window closed it was barely noticeable.

No Breakfast. Shame as the pictures on the site look good.

Local to where I was working and parking was good on the side roads. Liked the fact I had a front door key and was able to come and go without disturbing the owners or any other guests staying. The room was lovely, decorated well, beautiful bedding and overall was perfect in terms of my needs.

The room was cold on the first night and there was no facility to put the heating on, however, I told the kind lady the next morning and some nice thick blankets were in my room that evening. There was also a damp / drain smell when I first entered my room, I checked in just before 11pm and was shattered. I didn’t want to disturb the owner either. The next day I had a shower and my drains were blocked - told the owner and fair play they did try to fix it. They said they got a plumber out but the next morning when I showered it was still blocked. Continued to stay block continually during my stay and the smell of the drains was not nice. My perfume spraying masked it whilst I was in the room. Apart from this I was happy with the property.

Very cheap/good value for money. Well stocked room for what it is and helpful staff. Very near to my brother's house so perfect location for what I needed. I wasn't disturbed and the room was cleaned during the day of my second night. Very well lit, good size room and had a surprising amount of furniture

The room smelled of cigarettes when walking in but the smell passed (can't really blame them for this as it was presumably another guest smoking in their room). And the bed was very creaky.
