Location was within walking distance of shops restaurants pubs and train station Room was finished to a very high standard The whole hotel was spotless Top quality highly recommend

Room was hot. Access to get a code was terrible. What breakfast. Hard to find. Had to take luggage up two floors with narrow staircase. Glad I won’t ever have to come again.

Not sure about the coded door entrance, our room had windows but none that opened making it very clostrafobic , there was a fan in the room but that wasn’t the answer , requested a low flood due to being difficult to climb stairs but had to go up 2 flight to get to room, don’t like having to go to a kitchen to get milk in the morning ?! Strange set up

Bed was comfy and clean.

The main issue was that the bathroom smelt like stale urine which made the rest of the room smell really bad. I would have asked for another room but given it there is no one on site this was a challenge. The bathroom needs serious works - there was a post stating proposed works to be carried out in 2025, however scribbled out to state 2026. Shame given the rest of the building appeared to be in good condition.
