The Briarcroft

The property is extremely well kept, the room has everything you would need.

I love the new rooms. I love the home away from home feel.

Very spacious, self-contained apartment in a quiet area of Goole, easy to get to on bikes from the Trans Pennine Trail which we were exploring. The room was nicely furnished and the kitchen well-equipped. The communal living room had games and books in it and would be a nice feature if you booked a smaller room or were travelling as a group. Guest laundry was really useful. The continental breakfast was left in the room for our arrival and was plentiful.

The shower room was basic compared to the overall standard of the accommodation and had no heater, the flat was quite humid. They are doing renovations to create further rooms at the back, didn't cause any disruptions but limits view from kitchen.

This hotel is decorated to a high standard and is exceptionally clean throughout. The staff on site also very friendly and helpful.

Well decorated

The room said "breakfast included" so we expected a cooked breakfast to be served. We received a messaged on the Friday saying it couldn't be provided on the Saturday due to a glitch on booking.com and we would be reimbursed £16. So on the morning of a wedding we had to go into goole and buy a breakfast. We then had a continental breakfast delivered on Saturday for Sunday., which is not what we hoped for but it was reasonable. We haven't had any further communication about our reimbursement for Saturdays breakfast.

We booked for three people, onoy two sets of bedding and towels were provided. The property did not respond on phone, e-mail or text and so one person had a very uncomfortable night
