De ligging vlakbij het centrum. Prima treinverbinding naar Brighton.

Geen airco maar het was wel extreem warm toen wij er waren. >30 gr.

Like peaceful location right near beach ⛱ was GREAT.

Carpets

The property was ok. Unfortunately one of the rooms looked more like a Comfort Double instead of a Double to me . I spoke to the owners about this who was very nice but said that the pictures don’t always match the rooms on booking.com so it’s better to call to specify the type of room you’d like. Room 8 was very small with a sloped ceiling and tiny bathroom with very small shower. Not what was shown in photos for double. Room 11 was large with large bathroom and nice roll top bath. Good linen and smellies.

One room not as expected

My daughter Emma stayed at The Cherry Tree Guest House in May 2026. She was delighted with the warm welcome and the care of the team throughout her stay. The house felt homey, the delicious buffet style breakfast consisted of cooked options and every essential item for a varied meal. Check-in and check-out went seamlessly thanks to the details sent before arrival. The house is ideally situated for exploring the seafront and not far from Eastbourne town centre. She deeply appreciated the mini-fridge and the fan during the heatwave !

The only drawback of the room was the dust, which could be a problem for more sensitive guests.
