The shower was amazing as was the private terraced area and the bed was so comfortable as well as friendly staff we had 2 evening meals and both were outstanding x

There was nothing we did not like a perfect little get away

First appearance was lovely and the food was good.

Unfortunately our room was very basic and right on the road which is a fast moving road. The worst part was we were sat in the beer garden and had a rat walk up to us so I went and told the manager and he said it was because of the fields but then after our evening meal we went back outside to have 3 more rats running around the tables.

Sijainti maaseudun rauhassa on kiva, jos olet autolla liikkeellä. Ilmeisen suosittu pubi, jossa sattui olemaan live-esiintyjä ja barbeque-ilta, kun saavuimme, ja koska sää oli fantastinen, voitiin olla ulkona. Mukavaa ohjelmaa siis. Huoneen vaihdon jälkeen käytössämme oli erittäin tilava, omalla terassialueella varustettu huone ja suihkukin erinomainen. Aamiainen tilataan keittiöstä oman maun mukaan, oli herkullista.

Ensimmäisen huoneen kanssa oli vähän ongelmia, mutta asia hoidettiin tyylillä ja ripeästi kuntoon.

Beautiful property, gorgeous room (albeit noisy due to the road but that can’t be helped)

The staff closed up at 1930hrs and vacated the property meaning there was no evening meal available and no bar. This is an isolated pub with nothing in walking distance, and there were at least four rooms occupied as we met the other guests. At that rate per night it was affordable to leave someone on the bar (at least!) until 10pm to tend to customers. It was a real shame as we had booked it as a treat, to be left sitting outside of a closed pub with BYO food and drink.

Beautiful traditional countryside inn building

The noise of traffic passing outside 3ft from our window reached a crescendo at around 5am. Was told by the duty manger that was my fault because I chose the room online - even though the description omitted the proximity of the traffic racing past the room at a rate of about 25 per minute! Silly me not knowing. The pressure of those was so low I was unable to wash my hair. It took 5 minutes to rinse off and to demonstrate the low pressure when O tried to divert the water to the overhead dousing shower NOTHING came out! No milk in the room forever making facilities.
