Great value. Comfy room and great breakfast.

The bedroom was lovely, and the private courtyard was a lovely touch.

The pub area is not very comfortable. There is very little seating for such a large area, and what seating there was was uncomfortable. The cleaning didn’t seem very thorough. A lot of cobwebs and crumbs!

A RAT came running out of the hallway that conjoined our room. It totally freeked me out and unsettled me. It was at 4.00pm in the afternoon. I told the 2 members of staff behind the bar and all I got was a sorry and they are fully aware. The next morning I hear the cleaning staff taking the mickey shouting and laughing " quick shut the door because if the rats " 🐀 😡😡😡 x

The room had been cleaned but not to a very high standard, for example there were still clumps of dust and dirt on the floor

This hotel was a lovely peaceful place to stay after a busy day travelling. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The rump steak with peppercorn sauce hit the spot. Nice pint of bitter too. All the staff that I spoke to were friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveller, I think this important. I was really happy with my room (Langley). Nice breakfast too. All in all, a very comfortable night's stay.
