Crab & Boar

We chose this venue because of its location and because we had eaten here several times in the past. It has a good restaurant and a nice setting

The bedroom was located at the top of a very steep outdoor staircase with very narrow steps near the top. The room clearly hadn’t been updated for decades. Dark bare wooden boards covered one wall, bare wooden floors and very poor lighting with windows which were old, needed repainting and let the wind whistle through. The bathroom was tiny with a very small shower. Not the luxury double room we thought we had booked. The staff were pleasant however.

De deur klapperde wat door de wind. Sloot dus niet helemaal aan im het kozijn.

Great value. Comfy room and great breakfast.

The bedroom was lovely, and the private courtyard was a lovely touch.

The pub area is not very comfortable. There is very little seating for such a large area, and what seating there was was uncomfortable. The cleaning didn’t seem very thorough. A lot of cobwebs and crumbs!
