Riverfront Apartments

Location was good. Host was great.

Everything was sort of taped together. Dryer didn’t work.4 remotes but only 1 worked. Shower was awful in the little bathroom. It wasn’t like the pictures.

The decor in need of a revamp. Also the bathrooms. Definitely not 4 star.

The apartment location is amazing. Easy access to amenities,Glasgow cental train station, supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping districts. All within walking distance. Even the Cental bus station is only 20 minutes away on foot. I stayed in the Pentouse suite 4. He has a great view of the river, through the corner East facing window in the living room, but certainly NOT 360 views. The other windows are town facing. Had a good supply of clean towels and toilet papers. Found the house clean but was not cleaned for our duration of stay. (4 nights). The kitchen was functional with the basic crockery, which was good. Cental heating was good

While the house looks beautiful at the initial impression, that was it. The blinders to the windows didn't work. The mechanism for drawing them open were jammed. Had read about this in previous reviews and hoped they'd be fixed. No, they were not. One window is secured in place with duct tape. The river looks old. Remote is broken. There is a hole that is cut out for Tv cable just below the TV that blows in cold air. The dining chairs are flimsy, and my wife almost fell. So take care otherwise you can sustain serious injuries. We avoided sitting on them after the initial first night incident. The shower over the bath tub is electric driven. Very difficult to control the temperature. Kept on cycling from very hot to cold. The bathtub kept on squeaking under the feet. You could tell someone was in the shower while seated in the living room. I don't remember seeing iron box or hair drier. Part of me feels cheated to have looked forward to an amazing apartment, yet that was not the case. I don't know how much of this should I blame Booking.com. However, Glasgow was amazing. So if you are reading this, don't change your mind about visiting the city
