The Cliffe at Dinham

Me and my wife stayed for two nights and we had a really nice time.the hotel is located in a quiet area but within five to eight minutes walk to the town.lounge area is nice as was the breakfast room and dining room with tables fairly well separated to give you that bit more privacy.our bedroom was nice and very clean and the bed was big and comfortable.now for the staff well I can’t praise them enough all very smiley polite and very friendly all in all a brilliant two night stay oh and the food top top standard👍

Room wasn't that good

The location is great with views of the castle and a lovely walk across the weir into town. Plenty of parking and a quiet location in a beautiful rural setting. This is the second time we have stayed here.

I booked the annexe, thinking it was a private little outbuilding, it was however 2 rooms so there was another couple staying there too - my mistake i should have checked. I paid more for this room but it was small and cramped and no bath. Prefer to stay in the main property in future.

Evening meal was of a high standard.

The walls in bedroom no 5 needs to be replastered and decorated. Painted wood chip wall paper on an uneven surface let's the room down considerably. There was a shower attachment connected to the bath taps. Problem was there was no place on the wall to attach it therefore one had to hold it while showering. No shower glass or curtain thus resulted in a wet bathroom floor.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet location just across the river from the town. Parking was easy, the room was warm, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the dining room light and airy. All the staff were really helpful and friendly.

There were no problems with the stay.
