"Life in a monastery"

Coolest accommodation we have ever stayed in. From ringing the bell to announce our arrival, to the original art throughout the hotel, to the beautiful courtyards, to the dinner in Taquay, we were treated to endless luxury. This is no monastic life I ever imagined, but it made for a memorable experience!

"Lovely stay, very comfortable rooms and public areas"

Great location and stylish hotel up to the usual Belmond standards. Slick service and the best breakfast selections of any hotel anywhere. A pity that in the rainy season when there’s no threat of rain that they don’t uncover the outdoor seating (the nearby Marriot does!) to make that area more welcoming.
