Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate & Spa

We spent 10 blissful days in a 1-Bedroom Villa at The Kayumanis Jimbaran private Estate & Spa. The beautiful Balinese style ( open plan ) villa in a lush garden setting was very spacious and secluded. Ideal for couples who are seeking complete privacy. The 2-bedroom villas are perfect for families with children or 2 couples sharing. The pool of the villas have an adequate size for swimming. Purnama, our butler, made sure in a discrete way to be around at all times when needed. We loved the freedom of having "breakfast whenever / whereever". Food in general was nice and good value. The setting and atmosphere in the restaurant is a little basic but the excellent service is making up for it. Jimbaran beach is just 5 minutes walk outside the Estate. Wonderful sunsets! We sometimes also went over to the sister hotel Kayumanis Nusa Dua, where we enjoyed access to their private beach area. The location of the Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate is perfect for day excursions to the attractions around Denpasar, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, GWK statue (!). The spa treatments and especially the massages were outstanding. We took an Indonesian cooking class in our villa with the resident Chef Oka, including visiting the local fish market together which was great fun! During our stay we celebrated my husband's birthday with a delicious BBQ dinner in the villa. The decoration was amazing with many candles, lanterns and personalized menu cards. Agung, many thanks for all your assistance on this! Everybody at Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Estate & Spa was going the extra mile to make sure we felt like in our home away from home. My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful estate and was the most glorious and relaxing experience. We were welcomed by the airport pickup and offered refreshments and a cool towel. We were escorted to our room which was open, immaculate with every attention to details carefully considered. A 24 hour butler service with no request too difficult and attended to promptly. The room was cleaned daily with a nightly turn down service. The food was exceptional at every service with warm greetings and such generosity of service and ensuring we were always satisfied. We also had 75 minute couples massage which left us floating for the day, a floating breakfast in our private pool and many a lovely afternoon tea with complimentary bucket of beers and canapés daily. It was the perfect honeymoon and cannot fault the staff nor the estate facilities. Exceptional beyond our expectations and we will be returning yearly for our anniversary. Best private villa I have been.

Everything! The villas are stunning! The staff are exceptional, so kind and considerate. The rooms were stunning and had so much room to spread out, feeling like we could be together but not on top of each other. The decor was so well done between the beautiful wood features, the modern takes on art showcasing Indonesian culture, and the lush greenery making you feel like you were in a jungle. The restaurant and spa are great. The whole experience was 5 star, we loved the extra touches like afternoon tea served in the villa, turn down service, drivers to take us wherever we needed to go in Jimbaran, the butler assisting us with reservations for other restaurants or services. The room service was also delicious and nice to have some good western options to mix it up with the Indonesian food. We went to the spa twice because the services were so exceptional. We are Kayumanis fans for life, we felt so at peace here. Next time maybe Kayumanis Ubud or Nusa Dua?

Very minor stuff like there weren’t mirrors in the bedroom, there were in the adjoining bathrooms, and they kept replacing the towels even though I had hung them to dry. All very superficial, the stay was perfect.

Extremely luxurious and opulent

Had a meal in the restaurant and the fish was nearly liquid and ended up with severe food poisoning

Location was perfect for a short walk to the beach to see the beautiful sunset and for an early morning stroll to see the fish market in full action. We were upgraded to the double room which had a lovely pool between the bedroom and the outdoor living area. The outdoor bathroom was also great - that warm bamboo shower surrounded by lush plants was a little slice of heaven.

Not the properties fault at all but a warning to book early if you want a spa treatment - they have limited space and staff so we went across the road to another resort which could accommodate.

Incredible villa - only wish we could have stayed longer
