Crowne Plaza Tianjin Binhai by IHG

My second time here, I stayed 5 nights before. It was very nice except for the nails patruding from the carpet as it joins the tile, this happened last time as well. The room is massive and thus time I got a lake view, just beautiful. Bath tub and the nice amenities robe, soap bottles. But the view from room 709 was amazing especially at night. Gym very nice, we checked in on a Sunday and we were emerged in a group check out so we waited a but long but the service was nice and friendly the reception team were dressed. Gym and pool excellent. We walked over the bridge for an evening mean, very nice walk no pollution. We walked behind the hotel to Irish bar called shamrock 5 mins. Nice food. Starbucks us over the road. Overall I would stay again. Breakfast was the best of any hotel, makes sure you get I included. It cost me 320 that's about 45 bucks.

Nice spacious smartly laid out rooms, comfortable sleep, well equipped and spacious bathrooms. Helpful front desk, room service and concierge services. A bit far from the nearest metro station but the location, right by the lake, and access to the beautiful park, and the shopping centre being very close by more than makes up for it. the breakfast buffet was also better than what I have seen at most places.

First time stayed here in Tianjin and definitely wasn’t disappointed except too short of a trip. Nice lobby lounge to watch World Cup after work. Breakfast was nice with a variety of foods. Wonton soup bowl in the morning was great for me after a good night sleep. Custom noodles bar was good too as well. Great checking in and out process. Food basket and room upgrade was nice for an ihg member. Will definitely returning in the future.

Wow! I was so impressed, felt like on was in a different country! Great experience and would definitely return the next time I am In Tianjin.

The service was outstanding! English was good and all my expectations were exceeded.

This hotel is a bit off from the city center but it is close to work. It is very clean with spacious rooms and a good design. The lake view rooms are really great; you have large windows starting from the floor giving you a great view. The staff is really nice and friendly. The only downside is that the breakfast is very busy and it is hard to get a place to sit.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in January. Nice, clean hotel. It's huge, they also have apartments for rent. One complaint would be there is very limited parking. Since I was working there so long, my Chinese colleague rented a car. Every day when we returned we would have to fight for a parking place. they really needed underground parking. Another is at breakfast they tried to pull off pie filling for jam and all the food was barely warm. I ate congee since I knew it was hot. It's really close to the airport if you have an early morning flight.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza in September for 1 evening prior to a flight back to Canada. We got there mid afternoon and check in was smooth and efficient. We had booked the Superior Suite and very very impressed when we got to the room. Spacious with bedroom separated from living area by a divider wall offering us plenty of room to spread out all of our stuff and repack after we had jammed it all in our cases the day before. We also like having the bigger rooms because usually before a long flight one of us is restless or can't sleep so being able to watch tv or be online without disrupting the other is a benefit. For lunch we went around the corner to a pub that we had read about on other reviews. It was nice to get a couple of beers and some quick food before returning to the hotel to relax the rest of the day. We skipped dinner since we had eaten lunch so late. There are plenty of food options at the hotel, we just didn't try any of them. In the evening we went down to the lobby bar and had a couple of beers just before they closed. Check-out in the morning was once again a smooth process. We had made sure of the airport shuttle time when we checked-in so it was a stress free morning, with the shuttle being on time. We will stay at the Crowne Plaza Tianjin Binhai again the next time we are passing through.
