Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa - Your Beachfront Bliss Awaits

We have stayed here for 7 days, all inclusive (full bord). The hotel needs upgrades regarding the rooms (old and used-up furniture), especially in the bathrooms (very old and rusted amenities - sink batteris, showers, wood dors etc). There was no hairdryer in the room. The beach towels were old & torn, the beach lounge sofas were also in bad shape (the stufing was coming out). ...definetly not a 4* quality anymore. The staff was friendly but very very slow in bringin your order, so come here with a lot of patience. The best point of the hotel was the food - very good, diverse, with enough selection for both meat/vegetable options. At evey meal we had also 3 selections of fruits and some cakes. A bit disapointed were the fruit juices, not the best. Every day they had some program at the pool. At 4pm they offer a "snack" (cakes, tea, coffee). Every evening they had an evening attraction (acrobats, bands etc) *consider a budget for tips If you do not have lunch in your initial reservation, you can order an 'a la carte' lunch (from their restaurant menu) or 'buy' the buffet-lunch (20$ per day). Consider that outside the resort are not really other options for buying food. Is a good place to enjoy the sun and perfect water, but not at 4* rank quality.

Personalen är allt på detta hotell. Vi älskar särskilt Sally i receptionen som även ordnade ett fantastiskt firande till vår gemensamma födelsedag då all personal sjöng och hade fixat en tårta! Tack! Hon bokade även couple massage på annat hotell då hotellet hade stängt sitt spa. Roliga vattenaktiviteter som det borde stå mer om på hotellets hemsida. Shower och roliga upptåg lite då och då. Fint och städat hotell i övrigt med fantastiskt läge. Lugnt och väldigt säkert med vakter och till och med vakt med hundar på natten. Ett tips är att även besöka en strandbar i närheten där du får lite mer local Beach känsla. Lätt att ta en tuktuk dygnet runt utanför hotellet in till "stan" för mer utbud av barer, restauranger etc.

Vi fick vänta 1,5 h på att checka in. Bara en handduk på rummet samt att vi fick påminna om vatten flera dagar. Helt ok på hotell men om det ska uppfylla 5 stjärnor måste allt vara på topp. Ett väldigt bra hotell med stort rum, fin balkong med utsikt och fina apor som granne och en stor frukost buffé, men enligt mig lite dyrt och inte riktigt 5 stjärnor.

Tolle Lage, direkt am Strand, grundsätzlich schöne Architektur, das Hotel steht an/auf einem alten Korallenriff. - Das Personal im Restaurant, im operativen Zimmerservice und am Pool (Charles) ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr gut!

Flexibilität und Entgegenkommen des Personals an der Rezeption… hier kann die Customer Experience noch deutlich verbessert werden… hier ist man freundlich und professionell und bleibt beim eigenen Standpunkt…

I liked, the gym, the pool and the meals.

I didn’t like the monkeys snatching food. Though there are staff trying to keep them off. It might be great to beef up the staff keeping the monkeys off.
