Hotel Misión Express Celaya

I was traveling on business to Celaya, and myself and two Mexican colleagues had booked rooms to stay at this hotel for one night. Upon arrival to Celaya (delayed due to road closure), we had difficulty finding the hotel (three different GPS gave three different locations). To be fair this was not the hotel's fault. We called the front desk over the course of arriving to Celaya (approx one hour) asking for directions (talking with them for 15 minutes or more in total). Upon arrival to the hotel, around 10 pm, they informed us they were full and they would not honor our reservations because their computer system was down. That alone was disheartening, not to mention that they could have advised us of this unfortunate situation an hour earlier when we first called them and arrange for alternative lodging... Instead of offering assistance in booking rooms at another hotel of comparable quality, they handed us the phone book and basically said that was all they could do. By that time the local hotels were full and the thought of being stranded in such a remote location was becoming a reality. Fortunately, with no help from this hotel, we eventually found lodging an hour away at a much nicer establishment. This entire experience is completely unacceptable for any hotel, anywhere. As such I cannot recommend this accommodation to any traveler.

The worse that I had been in the planet

They treated me pretty good and gave me shuttle rides to where I needed to go. It's in the industrial part of town a little ways from downtown.
