Royal Empire Hotel

My family of 5 adults had 2 rooms and stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms were clean, spacious and functional. It was one of the most enjoyable and care-free trip for us. Thanks to the hotel team of polite and pleasant staff. Particularly, we want to thank to Mr Sokkol who personally fetched us from the airport. He also helped to plan as well as to arrange for an excellent, relaxing and economical 3-days tour. His service attitude was commendable. Many thanks also to Mr Narin, the driver assigned by the hotel to fetch from the airport, for the 3-day tour and also back to the airport on our last day. His service was exemplary and beyond his call of duty. For example, on the second day of our tour, we were caught in the rain at Angkor Thom. Mr Narin brought a few umbrellas into Angkor Thom and looked for us in the park to shelter us back to his car. When the weather was scorching hot, he offered us cool towels and cold mineral water which were very refreshing especially after walking and climbing for hours under the oppressive heat.

Our visit to Angkor Wat and the other amazing temples was made very enjoyable by Sokkol and his team! From the free airport pick-up, the welcome drinks upon arrival to the hotel, the guidance in booking our tour of the ruins, recommendations on where to eat and what to do in Siem Reap, up until the complimentary transfer to the bus station to get to our next destination allowed for a very relaxing and stress free holiday!

The staff was excellent and always looked after us. Our fare included airport transport in an air conditioned car. The breakfast buffet was very good. The breakfast room was very busy at peak time. We enjoyed the pool very much. Wifi needs improvement as it was only sometimes available in our room. The room was very big and clean. Tv had deutsche welle and many other good movie programmes. We booked tours with driver and tour guide which was absolutely comfortable (ice cooled towels and water). Highly recommended.

My husband and I we had a wonderful honey moon the hotel supervisor Mr Sokkol take care of us , he is awesome and made our stay a great one , fantastic hotel !!! Highly recommended

everything was really good. no complaints really, given the condition of the country. the hotel staff were amazing attending to our needs & questions. they even organised a personal tour for both my dad & i around the temples with unlimited cold towels & water, which is of great help after all the walking under the scorching weather. the only down side was the wifi that was hard to access in the rooms. but we has awesome connectivity in the lobby.

Great hotel slightly out of the city centre to explore Angkor temples. When you want to explore Siem Reap it is 3 dollars one way by hotel tuk tuk. Hired hotel tuk tuk for day trips to explore temple complexes over 2 days. Our driver was called Tra and he was great - would highly recommend asking for him. We payed 17 dollars (US) for each day trip and he was able to recommend extra temples to fit in on our planned route. Had Khmer massages at the hotel and would highly recommend. Good price and with hotel promotions was very happy with the service provided. Siem Reap is a very touristy place so beyond exploring the temples, the city itself is your standard supporting layout - lots of international bars, markets etc. A really nice place but not a reflection of the rest of Cambodia.

I LIKE THE HOTEL VERY MUCH BUT THE DISTANCE FROM HOTEL TO DOWN DOWN IS FAR AND WE HAVE TO TAKE TUK TUK.

The Empire and it's staff were exceptional and would recommend it to everyone, breakfast was great, the room a pool view with a balcony was excellent and the pool a good size and refreshing. Marinus & Wendy Melbourne

We had a fantastic stay at Royal Empire Hotel. The staff arranged aick up from the airport and were very welcoming when we arrived at the hotel. Our room was large and spacious and over looked the swimming pool. Can't find any fault with the hotel and the best thing about it was the fantastic staff who were able to help with anything we required.
