Ocean Breeze Nuevo Vallarta

This property is often confusing as it is both named Ocean Breeze and Sea Garden and is a Vidanta property which is the huge timeshare that dominates the area. Cabbies sometimes get confused by the name. The beach in front is gorgeous and the pool is a nice place to spend some time. There is only one restaurant on the property and it is just ok. We whipped around the corner to another place called Eddies for less expensive and better food. The customer service here is very nice except they do one thing that is skeezy and imho illegal in that they take a deposit when you arrive of 500 dollars.... fair enough. Its for things you may buy at the restaurant or around the pool at the swim up bar BUT when you go to cash out you do NOT get the benefit of your own banks exhange rate to pay for the services.... no...they convert it to THEIR own exchange rate which is quite poor THEN charge you thereby padding their bottom line. So when you purchace something that is in pesos they calculate that in US funds at a much lower rate THEN ring it through in US funds anyway shortchanging you. One of the benefits of having a credit card is using it in a foreign country and getting YOUR banks best exchange rate. This hotel does not let you do that. Skeezy. exchange..... like many odid..

A great place to stay without breaking the bank. Expedia saved us even more. The hotel was clean and conveniently located for us this visit. Erick Armando at the front desk was quite helpful and Oscar with (pool service) kept us well hydrated at the pool. All of the staff was quite helpful. The beach was wonderful and local restaurants are just down the block if dining off site. We will be back. Thanks!

we traveled a complete family with small children, it was very nice and comfortable. I recommend it.

To begin the location is not even puerto vallarta it in nallarit the staff was roude ando ther was only one restaurant the food eas expensive and terible i hace a son with autisum and was very unsatisfied with the food so i jot uber eat and the staff got after me that i could not bring anything that was no from the hotel i had my own musice in the beach and told me i could not have it on only ther songs and the wernot even playing anything i will never go again i have gone to other and beter servics restorts and never had any Issues

The food

Everything was wonderful! They had activities all day long while in the pool area, beach was perfect for kids and the surrounding area was very safe. My two kids walked around alone without any problems.
