"I will stay here whenever I visit Des Moines."

We stayed here while traveling through Des Moines. It is conveniently located and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I accidentally booked the wrong date and they were able to correct it. When we arrived, the hotel was over booked and the king suite was not available. They were able to give us a double queen room at a nice rate.

"Two nights—over Booking.com rate was higher than local rate by far!!"

Close to where we needed to be

Elevator didn’t work. Youth soccer tournament so place was packed waited in line for the elevator when it did work. Staff and cleaning crew had to use the same elevator as well. Sounds like this has been a problem for a very long time! very short staffed

"Great, but it would have been better if both elevators were working."

We have enjoyed the relaxing dinner in the evening. It is nice not to have to go out after all long day of driving not to have to find a place to eat in a strange city.

They only had two elevators and the one was broken down. We were on the 7th floor and it took forever for the elevator. We decided to walk down the stairs and we got down before some of those that were still waiting. When you are elderly, it would be hard for them. We are almost 70.

Breakfast and kickback were great!! I had never stayed at a Drury before but those are a big appeal. The room was seemingly clean and well put together.

We didn’t get to check in until an hour or more after the stated check in time. The pool was cloudy and concerning…and ended up being shut down the next day.
