great place to relax. great staff

This is a wonderful gem in Florida! It's cozy, clean, and the staff is incredible. The parking is also great if you have a rental. Katina at the front desk was a delight! She was very attentive and kind from the moment I arrived. She made sure my stay was pleasant and very comfortable. I needed to book an extra night with my membership and she made it a seamless process. In the evenings, Kathy worked the front desk and she made sure I had everything I needed.They both went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back!

We were visiting our son at school and this was the only hotel we could find that was within 30 minutes of him. What we didn't realize was that the Daytona 500 was going on the same weekend we were there which is why we couldn't find other hotels. This hotel is in a very nice area right off I-4 and has a bunch of things in the area including a new Publix and a couple steakhouses. Very small pool but a nice area to sit outside around the firepit. Room was fresh and clean. Great to have a kitchen and the extra living room space. Shower pressure was strong - so much so that I thought it might peel my skin off! LOLOL. Front desk very kind, free breakfast was typical and nothing special. If we're in the area again, I would stay here because of the cleanliness and the nice area.

Kathy at the front desk is reason, alone, to stay here! We have been "regulars" this property for several years and have bonded with her on a first-name(s) basis. She is a gem and a delight to work with. Her smile and attention to detail is witnessed with each and every guest; she makes them feel welcomed and special. I have seen her smilingly answer question upon question with the patience of a saint! It was nice to visit with Darren and well, and to compare notes on the comings and goings of area businesses in adjacent shopping plazas. Property is well maintained, both inside and out. Grounds manicured nicely, bright outdoor lighting. Love the pool remodel/resurfacing. Propane firepit with abundant seating at pool area. Barbecue grill available for guest use same area. Adequate parking with lots of lighting; spillover parking in wrap-around to Marriott next door. Safely walkable in quiet treed and landscaped neighborhood-like setting, both for exercise and to loads of restaurants and services. All exterior doors, aside from front lobby, require room key for access. Fido House dog walk areas with poop stations that are stocked and emptied regularly. Standard sport court with basketball goal. 2 elevators in good working condition. We did not use housekeeping, but everyone we encountered in the hallways pleasant and happy to provide supplies upon request (tissue, paper towels, etc). Breakfast as usual in Residence Inn locations. Menu varied a bit daily and was well-staffed, stocked and kept clean during service. Lots of tables for dining, both indoors and out. Clean gym facility small but all we needed; open 24 hours with room key. Some noise from upstairs into next floor rooms, but nothing major. Minor hallway noise. Nothing heard room to room. Two space launches during our time there, but no visibility due to fog and overcast conditions. Stand in the parking lot to see these rockets blast their way upward into the horizons on a good day (or night). "Very good" as opposed to "Excellent" due to minor wear and tear of rooms and need to update to the new corporate color scheme. Highly recommend.
