Residence Inn Gainesville I-75

We only stayed for a night but we loved the hotel. We will be back

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I thought this would be a perfect location, and it is very good. Yet... All we could hear was I-75... all day and night. The bigger problem is that we checked in on Wednesday afternoon and noticed the TV in the main room was loosing power and you could hardly see anything. We then asked the front desk to fix, and they said they "put a work order in". By Friday evening still no change and no visit from maintenance. We called and spoke to another attendant and told me "there are no tv's". How does that make it ok or correct? how does that solve the problem? I told her there was a Best Buy right down the street. She proceeded to tell me that she would have maintenance by in the morning to repair/replace the tv. Shockingly no one ever showed. There is no way we were the first patron to have had this issue, but I guess they just continue to sweep this under the rug and keep on moving. Who cares if they ever fix it, you will be gone in a day or 2 most likely. We were there for 4 nights and paid a pretty penny. Why do you just blatantly lie to your guests? NO EXCUSE for that. Oh... and to call down to the front desk... I had to use my cell phone as the phone in our room didnt' work. Which we reported as well and never was fixed.

The staff goes above and beyond to take care of your needs. The rooms are lovely suites with comfortable beds. The kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate me after a surgery I had the previous day. I highly recommend this hotel. ....

The staff at the Residence Inn in Gainesville, Florida make all the difference in your stay. From the folks that clean the rooms to the breakfast area crew to the desk personnel to the hotel manager they take care of any and all problems promptly and completely.

First class treatment with friendly and helpful staff! Very clean and well taken care of property. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had our little dog staying with us and they had a good green space for him that was nice. The manager we met on our way out was so kind and friendly. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Five star, best day ever, best Wheelchair Accessible room I’ve stayed in, front desk. People are wonderful, general manager is wonderful, People are helpful and wonderful at breakfast, I can wheel under the bathroom sink, the closet is completely accessible, The bed is lower so I can get into it from my wheelchair

I loved the size of the room and it had all the cookware and silverware that I needed.

There wasn't a trash can in the kitchen area for us to throw trash in, so we had to put the trash in grocery bags.
