Residence Inn Gainesville I-75

Good location off I-75. New redecoration; the development since we stayed in April 2024 have corrected almost all discrepencies in my previous review. Kitchen supplies are OK (but only 1 pot), otherwise fine & dandy. The area is crowded with highrise motels, but the grounds are nicely landscaped.

The room was not well cleaned. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Very clean, quiet, AND PRIVATE ! Very important for families who are trying to rest up or couples or who are trying to reignite their fire ! And very affordable compared to other hotels with similar rooms! Try it…

Our room was wonderful and the hotel is well kept and attractive. We had a problem with one of the staff, so sadly we are writing this review about our experience. We were on the road for many hours so were disappointed when there was no one at the front desk when we arrived. Eventually someone from housekeeping called the person from the office behind the front desk, his name was Brian. Brian did not know how to tell which rooms had tubs. I always ask this question at the front desk and it’s never a problem. Not a big deal but since I’m writing about our experience I am including it. Later that evening we had an accident and spilled red wine on our bed. I rang the front desk 15 times. Brian eventually picked up and put me on hold. I was on hold for 15 minutes so my husband took a walk to the front desk. No one was there. Eventually someone from housekeeping called Brian who appeared from a cubicle in the office. My husband was at this point just inside the office so Brian ordered him out. He told my husband to see housekeeping for a new set of sheets. He then returned to the back office. I have been a Bonvoy member for a long time and have been to many Marriotts, I have never experienced anything like such poor service.

The room was clean and spacious.

Place was clean and comfy. Location was good.

Breakfast could use some more choices. Dogs should not be allowed in dining area.

Hello, I booked this hotel for my parents who were evacuating from hurricane Helene. I put my card on file for them to be able to extend the stay. Each night they were given a hard time by assistant manager Bryan Stipcich. On Friday, after the hotel knew we had a card on file, Bryan Stipcich barged into my elderly mother's room, she was in her pajamas and frightened. My parents are upstanding citizens, they are both retired school teachers, they simply needed a safe space to evacuate to. This manager was very unprofessional and should NOT be in a position of leadership or working with people, they could also tell the staff was a bit frightened. I am not seeking compensation for their stay. I am seeking behavioral correction for this manager. He should not be treating his staff or guests this way. You are opening the door for a lawsuit with this man being in charge. Like I said my card was on file, and I would have spent thousands for them to stay safe. Money was not the issue here and should not have turned into this.

I like this place alot. The breakfast is always ready in the morning. Machelsea was very helpful and kind. Katina made sure to switch my room because i needed a bathtub, immediately. Ayu and Ma' Shawn always keep me smiling. Nikki, Christina, Brandi are very accommodating. The whole squad is cool as a fall breeze.

Comfortable, freindly staff

Didn't like being charged twice for this room. Once on booking in advance then an additional over 500$ and not one response causing me to spend over 1000$ for a 500$ room
