The Lund Resort at Klah ah men

It was more than I expected… it was magical. I almost didn’t want to write a review because I selfishly wanted to keep this gem to myself lol

Allowed us check-in at 8:30am so we could park for free for our all-day tour boat.

This hotel has an amazing location … loved it so much we booked a second night!

We stayed in a smaller room without a water view but a great spot to stay. The attached restaurant had a great view we had a decent meal. Would definitely recommend. Nancy’s bakery is right across the road with some pretty awesome treats! Overall, super glad we booked a night in Lund!!

Clean motel with a nice location and average restaurant and bar that has lunch and dinner. Not really a “resort “. Not many last minute activities. Good place to hang and read in the large store that has some nice indigenous items. A few yards away is a boardwalk with a good bakery and a good restaurant further along . It is a few minutes from a trailhead and a circuitous system of trails without any guide or map.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was average of an older building. Door was a bit harder to open. The shower curtain was dirty and an old facecloth was found. But the rest of room was clean and good.

The floor drops down several inches without warning when entering room. Building inspector missed that! The designated parking behind the place is a dirt lot with a steep climb, no stairs, to get to room. Shower curtain was several inches above the splash guard allowing the water to run onto the floor. Was weird! The air conditioner kept changing its flow, clanging very loud throughout the night making sleep impossible. Overpriced for what one got. The reception is a phone number, no one at the desk. Restaurant and lounge is closed because of lack of staff.

We stayed at the a Lund Resort for two nights. The room was clean, bright, and inviting. Beds, very comfortable and had a restful sleep. Our hostess, Laurel, always went above and beyond to ensure all needs are met. The oceanside view... spectacular! In the morning we kayaked to a few islands, the ocean life that we were able to see was awe inspiring! A very quiet, relaxing time. We will come back again!

The location of this property was great with views of the marina. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed the evening of my stay due to short staffing. Fortunately, staff recommended a very good restaurant within walking distance.
