"Your Home in Puebla"

10.0

Our weeklong stay at Casona San Antonio was wonderful. The hotel is only steps away from Puebla's historical center with its myriad attractions. Located in a beautifully renovated colonial style mansion, the hotel offers a restaurant, spa, and gym. Our room wss spacious and spotlessly clean. The wonderful staff was friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. They treated us as family not just clients. When next we return to Puebla, as we certainly want to do, we will definitely stay at Casona San Antonio. It is our new home away from home.

"Bang for your buck!"

10.0

I ended up choosing Casa San Antonio last minute when my Air BNB was not present or reachable for check-in, and my girlfriend and I couldn't be happier about our choice in Casa San Antonio. The staff was greatly helpful with everything from carrying baggage to calling cabs, not to mention that it is quite affordable in historic Puebla.

"The ideal choice"

10.0

Phenomenal! The perfect choice! The perfect combination of modern convenience and Mexican traditions, culture and style. Service was impeccable. All staff went out of their way to be kind and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. And, the location could not have been better. Evenings were amazingly quiet and peaceful. If I return to Puebla without question it would be my one and only choice.

"Central location, right price, lovely architecture"

8.0

Our family only stayed one night.- We were a side-trip from Mexico City for the express reason of visiting the new Museo Internacional del Barroco (http://mib.puebla.gob.mx/en/). The museum is terrific and has an incredible restaurant, about 20 minutes by cab from the Casona San Antonio. By staying downtown we had the opportunity to visit the Zocolo on Three Kings Day eve. Stunning and extraordinarily tasteful holiday lights. Beautiful colonial city.

"Not what we expected. "

2.0

We stayed in Room 1, first floor, at the beginning the hotel seems like everything we saw in the pictures. but once inside in the room it was a different experience. The minibar keep making a weird loud noise every so often and during the day time we didn't notice because we were out and about the whole day. But at night when we were getting ready to sleep; We noticed the noise and it was hard to sleep, not good for a "SPA Hotel". The roof of the room is wood without any kind of insulation and you can hear the people on the second floor walking, talking, etc, again not good for a "SPA Hotel" During the 5 days I stayed The water for the shower never got hot, the best day the water was at room temperature, not hot but, at least, not cold. I scheduled one of the services from the Hotel and I told them that I would confirm during the day of the service and they agree, "No Problem" they said. Saturday, the day of the service, due to traffic issues in Puebla, I called to re-schedule but they told me that the service I requested was not available on Sundays and that they will have to charge me a small amount for cancelling. The bad part came when I did the check out they gave me the full cost of the service, when I asked why, the manager told me that it was a company policy and that he couldn't do anything about it. However the charge was not in my receipt and when I requested it, he game me a hand written receipt. The food in the menu is limited and nothing extraordinary.

"Traditional feel with modern amenities"

10.0

The hotel is well situated - only 3 blocks from the Zocalo. The hotel has a very traditional feel but the rooms are modernly equipped. The room we stayed in was Alamo 11 which is at the back of the hotel - it's quite small but very comfortable. The best thing was after a cold tour of the city on the double decker bus we came back to one of the best showers - hot and great pressure. The beds are comfortable and come made with good linens and pillows. The breakfast in the morning was a great added bonus. The staff were knowledgeable with enough english so that we could communicate quite well.

"Highly recommended"

10.0

Wonderful boutique type Hotel. Great location 4 blocks from the Zocalo. We booked a Queen bed, but their reservation showed a double bed. They switched us to a King bed at no extra charge. Bed was firm & very comfortable. Hot breakfast could have more variety, but was good & cooked to order. Wonderful place.
