Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Greenwood

The building is older and has had rough use with cigarette burns, chips and cracks everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and everything we needed worked fine. The clerk was very anxious to help and even bought new lightbulbs when I asked for a brighter bulb so I could read. If you are looking for a safe and comfortable night's sleep at a good price, this is fine. Just don't expect a four star stay for a one star price.

This is a very old and unkept motel. My first impression should have told me to turn around and ru ladies room in the lobby had no toliet paper, no soap and no towels--the, but I had reserved two rooms. I would definitely say this place is the worst place I have ever stayed. The sheets were thread-bare. The bath towels were new, but like sandpaper and sooooooo thin. The table in the room was sticky--had to put a towel down before laying anything on it--and the towel was stuck to the table when we left. The 'continential breakfast' was non-exisitent--coffee, honey-buns out of a box, and we had to ask for a banana--that's it! One of the rooms we were assigned had not even been cleaned, so we had to wait on that to be done. Don't believe the description in their ad, it's a dump.

Reasonable price but comfortable. good hospitality! I am satisfied enough here. Tomomi,H

Well, for $90 bucks for two adjoing rooms, cable tv, hot water and four beds, who can complain. I don't usually stay at one star hotels, but we were arriving super late and leaving soon as we woke up, so why pay for all the frills? I don't know why the website has so much food listed, when I went this morning, it was either cheerios or corn flakes! There wasn't even individual milk, it was about 1/2 of a gallon in a college dorm fridge sitting on the counter. The workers lounge around half sleep, no uniform or identification to know if they work there or not. The attendant this morning was laying on the sofa talking to some other guy, I didn't even know he worked there! The smoke alarm was beeping in the room every minute and a half, free internet was slow like dial up, (don't try to download any pic on FB), and the remote was broken. Basically no frills, just stop by to sleep kind of hotel.
