Baan Bayan Beach Hotel

Location right on the beach, plenty of sunbeds and great view over the sea, excellent food selection for breakfast and during day and evening, small boutique hotel feeling and friendly staff. Location close to the mall is perfect on a rainy day, still ok location with walking distance to the city center.

Entrance to the hotel is down a long dimly lit road and difficult to know if you are at the right place, arrived in the late afternoon and had to pull suitcases to the reception up stairs and with no staff at the front, though the reception was manned. Building are well maintained but the garden and street to hotel would benefit from soft lights, more plants to create a nice atmosphere in the evening, e.g. the restaurant is great in the morning and daytime but would not spend the evening there. Happy hour from 3-5 afternoon is too early if you want to attract people to stay for dinner.

L'hôtel est calme et le peu de chambres préservent l'intimité. La piscine est agréable pour se rafraîchir et le buffet du petit-déjeuner est bon (mais pas excellent pour le prix). Le centre commercial est tout près avec des dizaines de magasins, de restaurants (japonais, barbecue, italien, etc.) et un food court. L'accès direct à la mer est aussi très agréable. Le personnel est sympa.

l'hôtel est vieux, on le sent. Les chambres sont vieilles, les salles de bains sont jaunies. Les matelas et les transats sont durs, donc inconfortables. Sur la partie restauration : les cocktails étaient bons, mais les smoothies n'avaient pas de goût. La nourriture était bonne. Le restaurant n'est globalement pas mis en avant, peut-être à cause du centre commercial.

Beautiful traditional buildings, excellent breakfast

Uitstekend koloniaal style hotel direct aan zee. Fantastisch personeel die meer dan goede service boden! Zeer goed ontbijt en idem restaurant. Relaxte sfeer waar je je onmiddellijk thuis voelt.

Helemaal niets

Alles schoon , uitermate vriendelijk en attent personeel. En verblijf is een prachtige authentieke locatie dat ooit behoorde aan een Thaise prinses / prins. Verwacht geen high end wijnen maar prima standaard wijnen. De keuken is uitstekend. Fantastisch adres.

Stort rent och bekvämt rum. Tips lägg några kronor extra så ni får sea view, värt varje krona.

Slitna solstolar och dynor. Men läget är 10 av 10.

The pool is beautiful. The breakfast, staff, location - amazing.

The rafters and some bathroom fixtures could use a good clean or replacement. Some were a bit shabby, but it does add to the overall colonial Thai feel.

It’s an old colonial type of hotel . It has retained its character which is different to modern hotels . Staff are friendly and always on hand . Sea view is excellent . Ideal warm waters to swim safely . I would recommend this hotel without a doubt

*parking toujours disponible *face à la plage et proche des shoppings *7/11 et market à côté *personnel très gentil et disponible *grandes serviettes pour la plage *magnifique environnement très paisible *petit déjeuner exquis et varié *chambre spacieuse et conviviale *petit restaurant/bar très bon *jardin relaxant et zen *chaises longues devant l'hôtel sur la plage *ouvert 24/24 C'est un très bel établissement de style Thaï et on s'y sent bien car l'accueil y est familial. Cependant, il mérite une réfection au niveau des salles de bains et un rafraîchissement des infrasctructures extérieures. Sinon super !

*infrastructures défraîchies : douche piscine-plage non fonctionnelle *tonelle de lavage du sable sur les pieds pas fonctionnelle *chaises longues et parasols défraîchis *salle de bains à l'ancienne mais également robinnetterie à l'ancienne : impossible de régler l'eau et de prendre une douche tiède. Baignoire défraîchie *la piscine pas profonde et accessible seulement par un seul côté *on voulait une chambre avec une terrasse avec une vue sympa. A la place nous n'avions ni terrasse et la vue sur un toit.
