Lazy Z Resort

A really lovely property! In the woods and with fun cabins and a great common area with pool, hot tub and games. I was disappointed to find that it is 25 minutes or so from Sonora which turns out to be pretty far if you want to stop in there for shopping and dinner. This place came up on the search for Sonora but is not exactly close. Its true location is Twain Hart. The cabin was really nice! Had everything you needed. Small kitchen with Micro but no range. BBQ outside and good outdoor lighting for night. Beds comfy. Only downside was the heater/aircon only blew hot air for 10 minutes then started on cold. It made the nights hard as we couldn't leave it on. The cabin didnt have much wifi. We were kinda close to the office so latched on in one corner of the room to thier wifi. The office is not always manned with staff. We had self check in which was fine but never saw any staff to address the heater issue. Spent 3 nights and saw no staff. Overall I liked the stay and facilities.

I was looking for a peaceful and serene place to just getway i am so glad I picked this place.. there website is 100 percent truth.. the picture are plus more that you see..Launa the office manger was so helpful and evertime I text her see was right there texting me back.. This place is over a 10 rating.. I have some many wonderful thing to say.. I stsyed in the Evergreen cabin it was amazing the firplace was a plus..The out side Hottub was like no other.. this was a much need get away for me and this place made this mini vacation all worth it ..I cant wsit to come back again..I do know this is going to be a once or 2 times a year getway for me...Rating this trip and the management a 10 plus.. This place is in a beautiful serene setting, run by very friendly & helpful staff, with great cabins & amenities. We love lazy Z! It’s the perfect vacation!

It was quiet and clean. There is a recreation center with billiards, a pool and hot tub. We didn’t explore too much because we had our 1 year old with us, but we will definitely consider this place for future trips.

So many things!! We had a 2 day stay......... Great Staff. Our cottage had everything we could possibly need for our stay. All we had to add was favorite foods, clothes and us! The setting is one of the best, lots of privacy, and a surprising amount of room for a single cottage. We lucked out and had Snow and that added so much for our trip. The cottage was sooooo warm and cozy as we watched the Snow fall!! The staff was in the know for all the road info and did a great job with directions to keep us safe when driving. I would advise four wheel drive vehicle for a Winter stay (which we have) so we were well prepared. The near by Businesses in Twaine Harte and Sonora were just as friendly. We will go back soon The booking through Expedia was fast and simple.

We really enjoyed this relaxing mountain resort. Our cabin was perfect!

The grounds were beautiful. The pool area was so pretty and unique.
