Such an awesome find! Minutes from Twain Harte, tiny cottages tucked in the trees with all of the amenities you'd need...except toiletries, be sure to pack soap and shampoo. Peaceful and pretty grounds to roam but since COVID, the swimming hole and museum were closed and unkempt.

"Not the best beds but great lodge "

Bed mattress needs to be replaced. My 6 year old rolled off the top bunk because there is no rail.

"Great little resort!"

We LOVED Lazy Z Resort. A very sweet spot for a restful time in a very sweet little cabin. Friendly staff and beautiful pool, very unique, place to hang out at the club house, play some pool or ping pong. Near Twaine Hearte for some good food too. We got mixed up thinking we would be close to Yosemite but really too far. So we just relaxed and enjoyed a couple of days on our way there. Nice little oasis.

I stayed in two different rooms during my stay. Both were very clean and decorated nicely, giving each room its own personality. All the amenities on the property are great and I had the pleasure of enjoying them all. Check in and check out was extremely easy, and it was nice to be able to reach the manager through text. Besides the amazing property itself, the Twain Harte/Sonora area had plenty of fun things to do, and I’d love to stay here again!

"Love Lazy-Z"

The resort was so cute, cozy, and lots of family fun! We stayed in a little cabin and it was perfect. There was a mini fridge, sink, microwave, and utensils/cups/mugs. We brought our own food and had our own little picnic right outside on our picnic table. The only downfall was a lack of hot water in the morning... shower at night because everyone is trying to use the hot water bright and early!
