Great stay !!!

It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Would highly recommend!

We loved the natural rock water features for swimming and the hot tub. So refreshing! Disappointed that there wasn’t a cooking element or pans or bowls besides the microwave. I thought kitchenette meant that but I looked the definition up and I’m wrong. The resort is built into the hills so don’t let the map of the complex fool you. It’s not really walkable unless you like hiking thru the forest up and down steep hills.

The comfortable bed was greatly appreciated.

This is a beautiful property in a forest. This is the third time we have stayed their. Each time we stayed in the sugar pine cabin. The pool and hot tub are awesome. Wish the pool was a little warmer. I'm 65 and jumped off the waterfall We played the corn hole game and ping pong. Watched the grey squirrels play out the kitchen window and saw deer on the property. The cabin has been remodeled and is very family friendly. I can't imagine a better place to relax with kids. We will be back

Perfect if I had wanted to go camping, it would have been great. But…. I was in town for a 50th Anniversary Party and this wasn’t quite what was expected. “The Bed” was what our family calls a Taco Bed or a Soup Bowl, needs replaced Badly sleeping two nights on it at $150 a night was horrible. My back is killing me. Not as clean as expected but it is a cottage in the dirt. Dirty or I should say Hairy Shower and well…….. Piles of debris outside and unkept grounds didn’t make this feel like it was worth the $150 PLUS a Night! Really run down for the price. Disappointed Oh and make sure you bring a Hair Blow Dryer because they don’t have any. This location was no better than a standard camp ground, Over priced camp grounds. Sorry, wish I had better report. We stayed in the cottages and some areas of that location are filled with long term run down rentals. The Pool Area was beautiful and the Warm Bath Tub section a delight to soak. Not many jets why I am short of actually calling it a Hot Tub. All in all. 6 outta 10… But beware which place you rent here because some are nicer than others on the property. Sadly for us it took the beauty of Twain Harte away from us. I hadn’t been to Twain Harte in 25 years and sadly I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Wonderful stay- quiet, relaxing, charming, small but quite nice. Everything we needed we had- 4.5 stars :):)

Beautiful location and cozy room.

Our trip was for our 28th Wedding Anniversary and we were so pleased at this amazing place! Loved the cabin, loved the surroundings and loved the reclusive feeling of this place. Cabins are NOT on top of each other, so that was lovely and the office was so sweet and helpful! We already booked our next stay in 2 months and will come back here often! LOVED IT and HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you like a rustic experience tucked away in the woods!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend to enjoy Sonora and the snow while it was still there. Overall it was a decent stay, it was fine for sleeping in while we were out during the day. Unfortunately, the clubhouse was not as impressive as it was made out to be. The billiards and foosball needed quarters to play, and there was event equipment (speakers, etc) just sitting out. I will mention that we did not use the pool or sauna, so no comment there. It seems like it would be better suited for events or large groups. And the room did not come with toiletries or a night stand, which was more just an inconvenience.
