Banpu Koh Chang Resort

I have stayed here and reviewed this before. On a nice location near everything you need, but not near any noisy bars or similar type establishments. The beach initially at the resort isn’t the best, but you only need to walk a few metres to the right of the resort and you have all of white sand beach in its glory. No sun beds, no parasols and no motorised water sports. I booked for 9 nights. They told me upon arrival that they had made a booking error and I would have to stay for first 2 nights in a room, then change for the remaining 7. As it turns out the room they allocated me was amazing. Huge terrace and complete privacy and hugely spacious interior, so I asked if I could stay there for the full 9 nights and they happily accepted. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there is a good mix of guests and there is a nice relaxed vibe to the place. It reminds me of the old school independent Thai resorts before the big corporations started building these modern overpriced and upmarket resorts. This place has tons of charm and authenticity. If I ever stay in Koh Chang again I’d say there is a strong chance I’d check availability for this place. Thanks again for a great stay

Beds were comfortable

Dirty pool and was topped up with water from a hose pipe every day. Booked a superior room but at first they had us in standard room but we're trying to pass it off as superior just because it had 3 beds.

Older than the pictures would have you believe but in good condition

Last day I couldn't sleep because of what sounded like a washing machine running all night.
