Great location with car parking. Quiet at night. Great price, including nice breakfast. Spacious room. Nice staff. Some servicing of room each day.

Would have paid a little more for bit more servicing of room (quick vacuum and wipe of bathroom). Stair leading to rooms is depressing - needs better lighting and definitely new carpet! Yard that accesses car park needs cleaning up. Pub is meat-orientated so maybe not ideal for vegetarians but atmosphere fine.

The host was nice and we had a nice meal in the evening. Location was great.

The staircarpet up to our room had holes in and was very old and dirty with an unpleasant odour. Our room was in great need of some TLC. Bedding and towels were clean enough but the windows and frames were in need of some work and the bathroom definitely needed upgrading. The floor covering was not flat and the bath panel was in a sorry state. If we hadn't have only going to be there for less than 24 hours, we wouldn't have stayed . I was very disappointed as this was for my husbands special birthday. I know we didn't pay a fortune for the room but we have stayed in a lot better for the same amount of money or less. Also it stated "included breakfast," which it did, but didn't state that you had to go to another hotel 2 doors down to get it. Wasn't a problem for us, but might be for some people. We we're glad the weather was fine though and have to say, the breakfast and staff at the Malthouse were lovely.....wish we'd stayed there!.Definitely wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely setting, great location. charming building. Parking space was a bonus. Great value including a cooked or other breakfast plenty of good options.

Nothing too bad but bathroom could do with a little updating but it served a purpose. On the plus side it's great to get a room with a bath instead of a shower. 😁

Het personeel was vriendelijk,het ontbijt was goed ook het avondeten was goed. De kamer viel tegen en het bed was gammel in onze kamer nr 3

het bed en de hygiëne in de kamer. het badwater liep heel slecht weg.

Ein typischer Pup, schlicht, aber authentisch. Parkplatz am Haus. Das Dinner erstaunlicherweise gut. Der Übernachtungs Preis!
