I recently stayed at Hôtel Relais Acropolis and overall the experience was fairly average, with a few notable downsides. The room itself was okay—slightly on the smaller side, but still livable for a short stay. One thing that stood out immediately was the lack of a main ceiling light. The room relied entirely on lamps, which made it feel quite dim, even with the window and curtain open, and not particularly practical. The bathroom setup was also a bit frustrating. There was no proper plug for the bathtub, just a large suction cover, which felt like a cheap workaround. On top of that, only basic shower gel was provided, no shampoo or even a 2-in-1 option. These are small touches, but they make a difference and wouldn’t cost much for the hotel to improve. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning. Despite having it set to the coldest setting for the entire 7-day stay, it didn’t seem to work properly at all. We ended up having to keep the window open most of the time, which wasn’t ideal. There’s also no kettle or in-room drink-making facilities. The only option is a machine in the breakfast area, which is free during breakfast hours but requires payment after 10:30am. It feels a bit like an unnecessary extra charge. The breakfast itself was quite limited, small croissants, no meats, and having to boil your own eggs etc. If it hadn’t been included in the stay, it wouldn’t feel worth paying extra for. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which did make the stay more pleasant. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to tram and bus stops, a supermarket, and the train station nearby. However, it is worth noting that the area can be quite noisy in the mornings due to it being such a busy area, obviously not a hotel issue but something worth mentioning. Overall, it’s a decent budget option in a good location, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve to offer better value and comfort

Personnel très aimable, petit déjeuner copieux avec du choix et gâteaux fait maison, un délice. Très bon emplacement

Chambre mal isolée (et voisins bruillants ça y joue aussi...) et malgré la présence d une baignoire il n était pas possible de prendre de bain car il n y avait pas de bouchon. Pas d eau chaude au robinet le premier jour... dommage pour moi !

Personnel très accueillant. Petit dej copieux et très bon Emplacement idéal et calme côté cour Lits très confortable et salle de bain avec savon ,gel douche et mouchoirs Top 👍
