Coppersmith Inn B&B

The Inn was wonderful and the host was great. One consideration is that because we had to leave before breakfast on one day, it would have been nice to offer some juice and a muffin or bar that we could have taken with us when leaving.

The most amazing food we have ever had

We chose this inn because we had a cruise scheduled to go out the next day. I wish we had stayed a few days earlier. It is relaxing, friendly, and unique. As you will see from the photos, it is quite authentic but not in a stuffy way. The neighborhood is quiet, and the homes are well-kept. Several high-quality courses both savory and sweet made an excellent breakfast to start our day. We highly recommend this inn any time you are in Galveston.

An absolutely beautiful old mansion. Everything was top notch. The service and food were excellent. Highly recommend when you’re in Galveston Texas. We stayed the night before a nine day cruise and it was nice way to start a cruise vacation. Thanks to Renee and family for the hospitality.

Love old home near all the Galveston sights. Quiet residential neighborhood with convenient parking in front. The grounds are well maintained, with lovely landscaping and a small pool with a waterfall. We enjoyed the from upstairs room which has private access to the balcony. But be aware the a/c is rather noisy and because of the light coming from the transom windows, the room is not dark at night. While we would definitely stay here again, we would appreciate not having to listen to the morning news coming from the kitchen ) (Fox News we think). Relaxing music would have been far more appropriate (although on one of the days Rene did turn on some music around 9, but we did have to listen to the talk from the morning news show while we drank coffee). Excellent breakfast served at 9:00.

Renee is an AMAZING host at an incredible property! We stayed in the carriage house and it was simply lovely. The breakfast was delicious and so much fun to sit with all the other guests. We will 100% be rebooking here!

My husband and I stayed at this inn for two nights. The B&B is a beautiful restored historic home with modern amenities. It is obvious the home is much loved by the owners. We stayed in the cottage behind the main house. The cottage is spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the inn had all the essentials that we needed for a pleasant stay. The Rene is a chef and her breakfasts display her talents. Not only was breakfast tasty and filling but beautifully plated. I highly recommend staying at this inn.

Like stepping back in time, staying overnight in this amazing Victorian home in Galveston, Texas! The owners, Robert and Renee, were terrific hosts, the house was beautiful, inside and out, and all the breakfast served was delicious! I would certainly recommend this B and B to anyone traveling to the island! Thank you, Renee and Robert for a memorable stay!
