Palazzo Marzoli Resort

Our stay at Palazzo Marzoli was great. Our room had a beautiful view of the coast. The only improvements that I would suggest is to the breakfast. The breakfast is really basic - yogurt, certain juices, croissants, and biscuits are only included.

This is a lovely small hotel a bit outside the busy part of Positano. The staff was welcoming, hospitable and accommodating. They bring breakfast to each guest's room (which has a small balcony overlooking the sea), which is nice, and gives one the opportunity to enjoy it in the privacy of their room. The rooms are clean, comfortable and airy with high ceilings and pretty floor tiles. Overall we had a very nice experience.

This is for sure not 4 star hotel! First, compare ro other hotels 4 star in Positano, this one is very high on the hill, which means many many stairs to the beach and restaurants. It's on the main road with the buses that lead to Amalfi or Sorrento, which make it very noisy the whole day!! We reserved a room with continental breakfast, but eggs are 10€ extra, frutis are 8€ extra, cheese and ham are 8€ extra... croissant and coffee are NOT a continental breakfast. I never saw that price for a coca cola or water in a mini bar- 8€ for a small can!!! Moreover, it was 13 celzius outside at night, but the air-condition in full power didn't work! In the bathroom we got frozen after showring cause there was no heater there, not even to dry our towels! The hotel didn't open the jacuzzi saying cause of covid restrictions, but all the other hotels we visited during the last week had their pool and jacuzzi open. How come? Try to avoid this hotel, and trust me- never book hotels rated less than 8 here!

A really lovely small boutique hotel, exactly the kind of stay we wanted in Positano. We traveled from Rome to the Amalfi coast in a classic car and needed a hotel with parking. We did not realize that all parking in the area is paid (and quite expensive!) as it was not mentioned on Expedia. The hotel staff were helpful and we agreed the price for parking. Room was spacious and clean and had a huge balcony with fabulous views. We would come again!

The hotel was in good condition, very far away from the center but beautiful room and very clean.

Great location - very easy to reach other parts of the city by foot. The hotel also has a shuttle service that runs throughout the day (down to the beach) for people who prefer to be driven. Breakfast is complimentary (there are options listed at the bottom as “extras” for an additional price) however WiFi is not - I believe this was €10 per day. There is also an option for parking which was an additional €65. Be sure to call in advance so their valet can ensure the hotel’s shuttle vehicle isn’t blocking the entrance to the parking garage - they will also help stop traffic so you can pull in properly which was very, very helpful! Great hotel overall - definitely recommend especially at this price.

This property charged a tourists tax! Never heard of this before I have been to Positano many times and have never been charged this tax. Also they wanted to charge 20 euro for a ride to the restaurant we went to and the return price was 35 euro. These people tried to add extras on everything they could.

The welcome was very inviting and pleasant. The receptionist had such a great attitude and it seemed our trip was going to be a hassle free one. The Room was beautiful, Colors were amazing and the room was very clean. The shower was super small, but the hot water... was plentiful. So nice, coming from a few AirBnB's with 2.5 min of hot water. The view.... wow. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect view. The shuttle service was a little misleading and unclear. The driver said one thing, and the reception said another. Once we got back from our day trip at the beach, we were told to call the hotel and that the driver would come pick us up, no specific time. Once back at the hotel, the new receptionist, said it was a 25 euro charge. This is where the stay became super unpleasant. Once the fees were explained to us, they got a really rude attitude with us because we didn't agree with some of their charges. Though we had the coke, no price was given to us and then at check out was given a charge of 10 euro for a 8 oz coke. Such a rip off. Then they tacked on a fee of 25 euro for the shuttle bus, even though the evening we came back and explained the miscommunication to the receptions, she said it was fine just that once. Very poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and would be very worry of your stay if you do.

The rooms were quite spacious. There is a terrace overlooking positano town. Good quality rooms. There was no gym in the hotel despite it being advertised with a Gym. its quite far from the main town and the shuttle service to town is €20 one way! they have allocated free times for Shuttle but not enough. The receptionist doesnt speak proper english and most of them are not experienced so its hard to communicate. The breakfast is really horrible and only croissants with nutella (no eggs) and dont ever order juice or coffee as its really bad. They charge a lot for the Wifi per day and its expensive and based on each person - we had to fight to get ours for free. They over charge so please go through the final invoice carefully. They charged €180 for drop off to Naples which is ok but the car they used was really bad (you could have got a good mini van for same price). Try to avoid this hotel if possible.

Lovely big room with sea view. The staff were very friendly and were welcoming and made the stay a pleasure
