Ystad Saltsjöbad

My wife and I chose to celebrate our anniversary at Saltsjöbaden and we were not disappointed. As a matter of fact it was marvelous. The staff was really kind and welcoming, the hotel is nice the rooms are very tastefully decorated and it is kept in the traditional Swedish style that we love so much. Our dinner was excellent the moules frites we a real experience.. We may come back just for them.. 😊 Don't forget to pamper yourself in the spa. It really is worth it and so are you. They spa area is super and the treatments are devine. The only criticism would be that they tell you the your dog is welcome, which only is true to some extent. Your dog has to stay in the room at all times.... Not very dog and dog owner friendly. YSB should look at how their colleagues in Germany does it, such as Sloss Hotel Flesensee. Then they could claim to be dog friendly.

Ærgerligt at cocktailbaren ved restauranten mere havde en brun bodega stemning end en god cocktailbar på et spa hotel. Og så passede musikken ved poolen slet ikke til stemningen. Men ellers var alt perfekt.

The perfect reset. We have spent 4 beautiful days in Ystad Saltsjöbad. The place is a bit old-fashioned luxurious but has his charme and the sensation is very warm. Service is excellent. Food at the restaurant is fine. Only some little details for such standard: bathroom in the room it’s very small (not in the suite, this suite was stunning). Music is a bit loud and should be different (not the same all the day and for all the places…). Food in the bar of the swimming pool could be much better. We will come back because we had a lovely time, we were feeling very well.

Jättefint och mysigt! Firade vårt 9års dag, dock hade det varit önskevärt om det fanns luftkonditionering på rummet då det blev väldigt varm, vi hade svårt att sova!

We really enjoyed the spa facilities, pools, and the location being close to the ocean. Spa staff were excellent - came to the tub to offer to bring us drinks. The room itself was small and not as great - we had a "sea view" but there were benches blocking the actual view. The toilet was broken and would not flush. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The staff we interacted with were nice. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a great trip, and worth the price simply due to the spa facilities. Note that the room itself was not worth the price, but the excellence of the spa pools made up for it.

Ett sort komplex med otroligt många gäster. ”Spa” är mer som en simhall med många gäster samtidigt. Handdukar och badrockar ligger överallt, alldeles för få, skåp, duschar och utrymme i omklädningsrummen baserat på antal gäster. Hög musik i spa och fullt med sand längs kanterna i poolerna. Ingen avslappning där överhuvudtaget, det blir dessvärre inget återbesök pga spa. I övrigt trevlig personal och bra frukost/mat. Sängen i rummet var otroligt nedsutten/mjuk/sliten så vaknade inte direkt utvilad.
