"County Hotel is a wonderful base with excellent Dinners"

Great location in this charming friendly establishment Quaint and luxurious interior goes hand in hand with top level service Whilst no breakfast good options available very close however the dinner was of exceptional standard and very good value Marvellous team overall ,good car parking opposite and just a wonderful place to stay. Book in and enjoy

"Always a delight to stay here"

The staff at the County Hotels are friendly and efficient they made our weekend stay a real pleasure. Our room had a spotless bathroom, a very comfortable bed and was serviced each day - except Sundays. The whole hotel wonderful old world charm, port in the library on the gloomy Sunday afternoon in Napier made up for the not so good weather.

Wonderful welcome by Angela. Lovely room. Everything we needed. A warm positive feeling in the Hotel. Beautiful wood panelling and original features, like staying in an early century mansion. Good privacy. Centrally located. Only used the car to visit vineyards. All we needed in short walking distance. Highly recommend this rare beautiful olde world Hotel. The Restaurant - Churchill's was superb - staff and food amazing.

Jacuzzi bath was great, a gift of local wine was a nice surprise and also the free Port in the library!
