Double queen room was very small and beds are definitely not queens. Hotel is beautiful for its age. Location and views are amazing.
Staying at the Perry Hotel was a delightful few days immersed in the class, style, and grace reminiscent of late 19th-century living — an experience that far exceeded our vacation expectations. The management and staff delivered exceptional service, truly standing among the best in the hospitality industry. Just a few hundred feet away lies what I consider one of the finest downtowns and shopping districts in the Midwest. Take in the pure freshness of lake breezes as you relax outdoors with a new book from McLean & Eakin Bookstore. Stroll up Lake Street to Summit Street, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Petoskey from high above. By your last day, you’ll likely find yourself planning your return — perhaps even booking a stay at Stafford’s Bay View Inn, as we have for next year. Whichever you choose, you’ll be treated to the timeless elegance of graceful living.
While I love the area of the Perry Hotel, I do find it to be a bit overpriced for what is included. The rooms are small and there is not much to the property. They do give each guest a $12.50 breakfast pass, but there are limited vegetarian and vegan options. Overall, good location and views, but not worth price.
