A very comfortable stay, a very elegant hotel. The only negative factor is the noisy, creaking floors. We could hear the people above us walking, as well as people walking in the hallway.
The Perry hotel was an extraordinary stay with beautiful views and top notch service. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the sinning room breath taking.

This is our fifth visit to the Perry Hotel in the last three years. The location is fantastic conveniently walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. The view over the marina, pier and bay from the high perch of the hotel is superb, don’t miss the great sunsets on the bay from the outside garden or your balcony! The morning breakfast room has these same great views with its huge windows looking out over the bay. The $25 breakfast coupon per room pays mostly for your breakfasts each morning, an especially nice perk. Wait staff is super friendly and give fantastic service as do all staff at the hotel. Looking forward to our sixth visit!
We went for a friends overnight stay in downtown Petoskey. We typically stay at The Perry Hotel as it is in walking distance to shops and dining. The Perry overlooking the Lake never disappoints.
Beautiful hotel, built in 1899 and maintained in excellent condition, near the water and just blocks away from Petoskey's shops and restaurants. We plan to stay here again the next time we travel to Petoskey.

The property has a unique architecture that we like. The panoramic views of the bay from the dining hall were gorgeous especially after the snow fall. The noggin pup made you feel like you were in a speak easy.
The hotel is amazing! Such a cool location. It’s beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived after skiing. We had considered eating somewhere else in town but ended up staying and having dinner and drinks at the Noggin Room. The beds were so comfortable!! We were also given a free breakfast and it was also delicious. Love this place!
