"Tried to book a stay but no one would ever call me back"

I reached out to the general manager Cori to get an extended stay rate for a relocation. I called every day and got a hold of her a couple of times. Each time she was on a zoom meeting. She told me she'd call me back. The whole work week went by and I never got a call back. It's very disappointing that no one could help me out. I was looking to rent a room for at least a couple of months.

The room smelled like pizza as soon as we entered, and we did not have any food at all with us. Not enough towels in the room kept seeing lots of people going to ask for one at the front desk. Very uncomfortable stay for us.

I have stayed at this property in the past, but it appears the pandemic has changed things. The main negatives are the male staff at the front desk that are not lack customer service skills, but at times are hostile. The toilet seat was worn out and should have been replaced and the room was dusty and it appears they have decided to slack on the cleanliness even though we are in the middle of a pandemic. I decided to check out early after consulting with the front desk, but upon checking out the receptionist (he said name was John or Charles) refused to give me a print out evidencing my check out and expected me to leave without a check-out receipt. After I gave up on him and was printing my boarding pass, he changed his mind and gave me the print-out receipt. I tried to get them to refund me the remaining days I hadn't used and they fought tooth and nail and the front desk refused to allow me to talk to a manager. He was the manager and that was it. Absolutely a horrible experience stemming mostly from the male front desk staff who have no business working in the hospitality industry. Stay away and go to the adjacent properties.

I liked how clean an comfortable the stay was. And it was also affordable. The parking situation, however, was not ideal. Overall I’m quite satisfied with my stay.
