The fact I had a 3 hour drive after a long stressful day, I arrived checked in, sat down with my meal to see a far right movement group called “ restore Britain “ having a live video blog and discussion, this then proceeded to involve other guests and made the atmosphere very cold and awkward, I respect the right to own political beliefs, but there is a time and a place, and in a hotel restaurant where there was other guests wasn’t the place, ruined my evening and I just went back to my room, I feel like staff should have put a stop to this.

Short walk to town. Great breakfast, staff there especially helpful and friendly. There were 4 of us in a bigger room and there was plenty of space. Price was reasonable.

Being super critical, the gym floor needed a bit of a clean and the light switch circuit was understood unreliable. We had to work out which switch combination turned the bathroom light on. Strangely it was by the bed, not the one by the door!

Great room in a handy location - not very far from the centre of sheffield. Very good breakfast. Good for evening meal too. Staff all very friendly.
