"Excellent"

Full breakfast options, beautiful garden. Near foodie neighborhood-Escalante. Quiet neighborhood with decent rooms (others in my group had nicer rooms)

"Nice hotel close to University"

The hotel was fairly easy to locate and is close to the University of Costa Rica. Not a lot of parking available if you have a rental car. Our room was very spacious. We did have some difficulty with getting hot water for showers. There was not a breakfast included with the room cost, so we thought that we could just stop in at the Starbucks next door in the morning before hitting the road, however the Starbucks was not open early!

"Quiet, beautiful hotel"

Beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly staff. It's located in a very hip part of San Pedro - on the border of Los Yoses and Barrio Escalante - there's great restaurants/bars. Mike upgraded our room and was attentive to our needs. Thank you to the entire staff for maintaining such a beautiful hotel. Will definitely be back soon.

"Excellent staff "

Staff were friendly and very nice. Kitchen staff were tops. Hotel was old but very clean. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city center but that was ok by me because it was quite and safe where we were. I would stay there again.

"Great deal on hotel near downtown"

Nice, comfortable hotel in quiet neighborhood west of Downtown San Jose. Comfortable, in a residential area within walking distance of the city, and helpful staff. Well located with a perhaps a dozen varied and good quality restaurants within a couple of blocks. Two grocery stores within easy walk. Great deal overall.

"Would stay again!"

Staff was friendly, hotel was very cute! They gave us a great room with a private balcony with lots of foliage, we got in late around 8pm and front desk staff was still there and dinner went until 930. We were able to wash up before we went down for dinner, didn't feel rushed at all! Food was delicious and staff were great. I would stay here again!
